Tekla is an original screenplay by Noah Hersom.
A defiant school teacher must flee for her life when she refuses to come to heel for the Germans occupying her small village in Poland.
Based on Noah's great, great grandmother, Tekla Szott, who fled her home in Poland and escaped to the US during WWI.
